I had been putting off replacing my missing back tooth because I was worried about the cost and the pain. When I finally went in for a consultation, the dentist assured me that the procedure was routine and that most patients handle it very well. They gave me a clear breakdown of all the costs involved, so there were no surprises. On the day of the surgery, I was given numbing medication, and I did not feel any pain during the procedure. Afterwards, I had some swelling and soreness for a few days, but nothing that over-the-counter pain medicine could not handle. The entire staff was so caring and checked in on me regularly during my recovery. Now that everything is healed and my crown is in place, I could not be happier with the results. My implant looks and feels exactly like my other teeth. I only wish I had not waited so long to take care of this.
